It is with a heavy heart and with lots of good wishes, but Amari Manchester says Goodbye to our Centre Manager Steve Cleave.
Steve has been here less than 12 months but in that short time he has become a well-respected manager.
Steve has spent 5 years in total with Amari Plastics, mainly as a National Account manager.
But July this year will see him take up a new role working for a manufacturer.
When asked why he felt it was the right time to leave, Steve said.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Amari and have made many good friends and colleagues over the last 5 years, more recently at Amari Manchester. Although not looking to change jobs, I’ve accepted an exciting opportunity to join a manufacturing company that has enjoyed rapid growth over a relatively short period of time & cannot wait to get started on the 3rd July. Amari Manchester in the short time that we have been together you have grown into a great team and I’m sorry to be leaving you. Carry on working hard to achieve your goals, respect each other & give the new Manager the same support & dedication you’ve given me. I will miss you all and I promise to pop in and see you from time to time”
Steve’s hard sales background has worked well here at Manchester, and with the assistance of Richard, they have coached the sales staff well.
Dave Urwin our Warehouse Manager said, “he’s a good knowledgeable guy and will be sorely missed”
Dave Murgatroyd, Our Longest serving member of staff said, “I’ve been through more managers here than the England football team, and he will be one of the ones that I’m sorry to see go, but I am honoured I have met a Reading FC fan, who?”
‘Steve who?” said Les – “Joking apart, Steve is a genuinely nice guy, I’m disappointed he is leaving us, but I understand the opportunity was too good for him to turn down”
Take care Steve and good luck!
